SATIN STONE: Made from natural gypsum - not synthetic plaster. The hardest of our die stones with a compression strength of up to 9,000 lbs. PSI/62.05 MPA after 1 hour - and up to 18,000 lbs. PSI/124.1 MPA dry. Expansion .070 - .075 after 2 hours. The thixotropic qualities allow the material to be stacked yet is has excellent flow characteristics. It can be used on any application where a die stone is necessary. Not recommended for use with gypsum hardeners. Physical Properties: 19cc to 100 grams. 6-1/2 - 8-1/2 minutes initial set. |
